domains_add

Claim a hostname of yours for the App, and print the DNS records to add.

The tool of basemodo domains add, on the local MCP and the remote one. It changes things, so an agent's client may ask you before it runs.

Add both at the domain's DNS host: the CNAME points the hostname at Basemodo, and the TXT proves it is yours (only its value lets this App claim it). Then verify. Every Plan has two custom domains per App.

Arguments

  • hostname (text, required): The hostname, like app.example.com (a subdomain: the CNAME cannot sit at a domain's apex).
  • app (text): The App whose custom domains to change. Default: the one named after the current folder.

On the remote MCP

  • app is required on the remote MCP, which has no folder of yours to find the App from.

Answer
