basemodo plan change

Switch your Plan to another, on the payment provider's page.

basemodo plan change [OPTIONS] <PLAN>

It opens the payment provider's page where you choose the Plan; nothing changes until you do. Moving up to Pro applies at once, and the rest of this month is charged then, prorated; moving down to Starter applies from your next month, with nothing credited. A Plan set to end is kept first, on the billing page. A Workspace's Plan is not switched.

Arguments

  • PLAN (required): The Plan to switch to.
  • --no-browser: Print the payment provider's page without opening a browser.
  • --workspace <WORKSPACE>: The Workspace whose Plan it is (its name or id), for one of its Admins. Default: your own.

Like every command, it also takes the global options --json and --api-url.

Examples

Switch to Pro:

Print the page for a script, without opening a browser:

Output

With --json, it prints {"plan", "url" (the payment provider's page), "opened"}. A Plan set to end: plan_ending. A Plan Basemodo grants: plan_granted. Without a Plan: no_plan.

From an agent

Terminal only: the person confirms a switch on the payment provider's page; an agent tells them what it costs (plan) and to run it, or to use the billing page.
