basemodo account delete

Erase your account for good: type its email to confirm.

Terminal window
basemodo account delete [OPTIONS] <EMAIL>

Everything that is yours alone goes at once: your Sessions, Devices and Agent Grants (this CLI's too), your sign-ins, Notifications, memberships and pending Invitations. Where others' Apps keep a record of what you did (a Deploy, a Secret you set), it reads "a deleted Person". Refused while your account is suspended (write to Basemodo's support), you own an App (delete it or Transfer it), are the only Admin of a Workspace (make another Admin, or write to Basemodo's support to close it), or pay for a Plan you did not cancel (cancel it on the billing page). It cannot be undone; signing in again later starts a new account.

Arguments

  • EMAIL (required): Your account's email, as basemodo whoami shows it, typed to confirm.

Like every command, it also takes the global options --json and --api-url.

Examples

Erase your account:

Terminal window
basemodo account delete ana@example.com

Output

With --json, it prints {"email"}, the account erased. An email that is not the account's is an error with code account_email_mismatch; a suspended account, account_is_suspended; an account that owns Apps, account_owns_apps; the only Admin of a Workspace, account_last_admin; a Plan paid for and not cancelled, account_plan_paid.

From an agent

Basemodo's MCP serves it as the tool account_delete. It changes things, so an agent's client may ask you before it runs. Its arguments are the command's, named as JSON keys: email (text). It answers what the command prints with --json.
